Global Recognition for Ambassador Ike Khamisani at United Nations Association Event
A distinguished delegation from the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA), Inland Empire, California, led by Ambassador Col. Dr. Ike M. I. Khamisani, along with Secretary Rachelle Adelante, attended a prominent event hosted by the UNA-USA Los Angeles Chapter. The event featured His Excellency Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of the United Nations.
During the event, Ambassador Ike Khamisani presented a copy of his renowned resolution on the Israel–Palestine conflict. This resolution was originally passed and approved at the UNA National Convention in Washington, D.C., in 2009, and subsequently recognized as a policy document by the United States Department of State.
In acknowledgment of his exceptional contributions to diplomacy and peacebuilding, Ambassador Khamisani was honored with the prestigious titles of “Diplomat” and “Ambassador” for Goodwill and Peace. His leadership played a pivotal role in shaping the Chapter’s and Division’s human rights policy resolutions, particularly the comprehensive framework on “Self-Determination of Peoples,” which was adopted during the National Convention Advocacy Policy Session.
Further recognition of his humanitarian efforts and unwavering commitment to global peace was conferred through the Volunteer Service Award, presented by former U.S. President Barack Obama.
Ambassador Khamisani’s continued dedication to advancing human rights, fostering international cooperation, and promoting peaceful resolutions underscores his standing as a respected global advocate for justice and diplomacy.
